Now that AI is popping off it got me thinking, how hard would it be to train an AI to day trade? I know a lot of trading is already done by algorithms and bots, but those can't necessarily learn and get better

It's already been done to the point that they more or less are responsible for market movements. If you don't think the elites have been pouring funneling multimillions into R&D for machine learning for bot traders to sap all of retail's money then you are sadly very misinformed
