H-index has no relation to the competence to do what's needed.
It's like expecting a graduated "smart" student to be good at trading and managing a company.
They are horrible at it because the skills needed are the complete opposite of taking risks, being godlike at execution and learning from your mistakes quickly.
The absolute opposite of an academic who is afraid to destroy his reputation by making a mistake.
From this point of view a too high H-index has a higher probability of decreasing the ability of that person to perform properly as an entrepreneur and to build something.
