Bitpay cancels all bcore transactions less then 100 dollars cause of high fees

tells customers to hold on as adding BCH support soon

Or they could implement segwit?

Not a long term scaling solution.

>> No.5366179

more like an emergency hard fork making it an alt coin

long term is LN
short term is segwit
right now we need short term, if coinbase and bitpay and all the big players implemented segwit, transaction fees would be minimal

CT: What about Lightning Network as a scaling solution for Bitcoin?

RV: Lightning network is still just a science project at this point. Nobody’s having it in commerce, nobody’s having lighting network wallets, so it’s complete vaporware at this point.

Maybe it will come together, maybe it will be fantastic someday, but they intentionally broke Bitcoin which was working incredibly well and grew into this worldwide phenomenon.

1. Nobody uses BitPay
2. BitPay sucks
3. Altcoins are superior to Bcash both as a store of value and a currency

>so it’s complete vaporware at this point.
but it's not?
it's working perfectly fine in the test network, and some transactions have been made in the main network too.
increasing the blockchain is not a real solution for scalability, off-chain protocols are

if bcore was so good why do you have to spend all your time defending your stance as things continue falling part

It's not. It's utter shit. They got absolutely every stupid thing they wanted, this is the result and they're trying to blame the competition that did nothing more complicated than jot shooting themselves in the foot. The only reason do many people defend core is because blockstream admits to hiring literal shill armies to "correct the record". They are shareblue for crypto, and the actual value backing them up is just as absent.
I just want them to die so we can get on with changing the world through crypto, instead we get hundreds of d&c bullshit threads an hour whining and bitching piteously about how hard done by core are.
