Barely more decentralized than BTC. Won't be much faster than BTC once BTC copies it and implements the Lightning Network. I'm really not sure what there is to be excited about.

Monero is more decentralized, not currently able to be mined with ASICs, and it's anonymous. Monero is basically what Bitcoin noobs think Bitcoin is.
