We're all gonna be rich. I'm telling you right now, if OpenAI decides to sell their AI as a product to businesses and go public, this will be a trillion dollar company. Right now, they value themselves at $28bn. That is not even close to correct. ChatGPT has saved me so much fucking time at work it's not even funny. Data entry jobs? Absolutely fucked. Nuked. See you later. Then it's coming after Data Scientists. If your job requires you doing a lot of SQL? Time is ticking. This shit is going to replace you and your entire team for the one-time price of $1 million and an annual maintenance fee.

BTW, this is MortgageChad. The same MortgageChad who told you fucking retards back in 2020 to buy a house. I'll be spamming this thread every week for the next 6 months so that when I'm rich as fuck in 5 years I can LOL @ all you retards who missed out.

AI is here and it works and it is going to be the next Google for making life easier. When Google wasn't a thing, people had no idea much they were missing out on. The same is now, with you retards. You have absolutely no idea how much this shit is going to help you with random bullshit and it already helps tremendously for techbros

Probably because you don't have a job where it can help your life. Data entry jobs are going to be non-existent. It's basically going to replace all of the tools in excel. You'll no longer have to setup rules in excel, you can just give it the data and type out in plain English how you want the data structured and it will do it for you. There is no way this type of technology doesn't go public.

The only way it gets fucked is if Google buys the tech. In which case I'd say it's probably a good idea to buy shares of Google. There is a massive vacuum where companies need AI tech for productivity and it doesn't exist. Even the tech company I work for is completely unaware of chatGPT and how much it can help productivity. This thing literally builds basic programs for you. "Build me a program where I can give you a list of currency codes and numbers and if the the currency code associated with the number is not USD, convert that number from its currency code to USD" - you could literally type this and it will create a working program for you in 15 seconds whereas even the most skilled developer would take 10 minutes and closer to 30 for the average programmer after all is said and done. What's crazy is this is just the tip of the iceberg. This company is relatively small and based in a single US city. Once this tech gets proper funding.... this is the next Google. "Aw man, remember when we didn't have AI to help us with whatever? That shit sucked". We are essentially looking shit up in the encyclopedia before Google in regards to not having AI right now

Yeah but give it a list a, b, c, d and ask it what's btn a and c. It can't do math or basic logic. You can generate the program but have go verify it for logical errors, so the 10 -30 minute parity is maintained lol. You are selling hype as usual. This is like the machine learning explosion just after tensor flow was released by google, everyone was aching to apply it to something until the hype died and was found to only be applicable to very esoteric problems.

Not exactly sure what you're talking about but if I gave it a list of 100 numbers and asked it to organize it in descending order then find the average difference between each number as well as the difference between the smallest number and largest number it could easily do that. In fact, it could write you a C++, Java, python, etc. program to have a user input a list of numbers and do this.

>You can generate the program but have go verify it for logical errors
The program example I gave would not have bugs lol. It's so simple it would either work or not work.

You're somewhat redeemed about the idea of OpenAI going public, however. Sam Altman is aware of the fact that locking people out of equity in a company that is capable of hyperproductivity is -ev, so I fully believe that there will be a public offering that will lead to a new bubble, except this will probably be the first bubble in history where there won't be a top for....probably a couple of centuries as the misjudgement that people will make is underestimating the rate at which OpenAI will generate profits to justify the valuations.

This also isn't just about getting rich, it's about making sure you are on the right side of the equation where return on capital exponentially increases whereas everybody that doesn't have capital will only benefit via welfare, which will still be a big win for the NEETs and most of the rest of society, it's just a lot of midwit middle class people who count on the value of their skills rather than their capital will find themselves on the wrong side of that equation rapidly. Don't be in that group.

Do this with google:

I have 50 rows of data, each with a column for account number and a column for transactions amount. The account number has a leadinh 'C' that I need removed, and the transaction amount has commas and decimals that I need removed - i.e. 2,988,000.00 needs to be 298800000. After the rows have been corrected, I need a unique SQL update command for each row. i.e. UPDATE [file] SET [amount] = ([amount] + "transaction amount") where [account number] = "number of the account"

Here is the data
Account number | transaction amount
.
.
.

Yeah, have fun with that tedious shit on your own, faggot. I could literally put that exact post into chatGPT and it would churn out 50 SQL commands for me to run. In fact, I could ask it to add a UNION in between each SQL command then paste the entire thing into my application and run them all at once. 3 minutes of typing - saves me 20 minutes of work. Obviously NTA but what some healthcare analysts do is try to find correlations between symptoms and prescription drugs use i.e. "here's a list of 1,000 patients. For each patient, there is data for age, sex, height, weight, illnesses and prescription drugs they are taking. Find out if there is any correlation between age, sex, illness, and drug they are taking".

This is a little off subject but I know for a fact healthcare "researchers" are going to be replaced by AI. They essentially talk to patients and get a list of their medications and prior illnesses, write it down, then later they input it by hand (typing) into a database. This could all be done by speech-to-text i.e. "say what illnesses you have and the medications you take" which will be translated into text that AI will then organize into a table and be able to find commonalities - completely cutting out the role of the "researcher".

Do you know how much it costs to use it after you've built it? Do you know how much it costs to expose it to the public via API endpoints and then run GPT-3 concurrently for all of those constant nonstop requests from internet losers?
Now picture this imagined reality where businesses are spamming OpenAI's servers with requests for some fucking reason, which would increase traffic immensely. How much do you think OAI will end up charging per request?
If you wanted to do basic bitch undergrad level NLP on a mere 10,000 tweets using their rinky dink analytical models like DAVINCI, it would cost you nearly $4k. Add several zeroes to that figure if you're trying to make a non-trivial number of requests per second to GPT-3 (using it for your company's own chatbot, for example).
These all-encompassing general purpose models are going absolutely nowhere fast. Smaller models with narrower scopes, less responsibilities, trained on more specialized datasets are far cheaper and easier to deploy. But guess what? Literally any fucking mongoloid retard pajeet with a python interpreter can figure out how to train a model like that themselves.

What do you think of RDNR as a bet on AI (along with metaverse, AR/VR, film, video games)?

All of these AIs are going to need a crap ton of GPU compute to train & run them.

GPU compute has the potential to become digital gold.

RNDR = the foundation for the coming megatrends to operate and function properly.

Is this what Reddit is like? Where people just congratulate OP on the most unfounded shit imaginable?

your job requires you doing a lot of SQL? Time is ticking. This shit is going to replace you and your entire team for the one-time price of $1 million and an annual maintenance fee
No. You can’t use that shit to plan out database relations. It doesn’t understand how these things work. If it can’t understand relationships then it won’t be replacing your teams, it won’t even replace your lowliest SQL code monkey because they’ll need to know it, hell, PHPfags will still have use because that language is a mess and even an AI can’t figure that shit out.

There is currently and will probably not be an AI in the next 50 years that will comfortably replace a human in the workplace. None of them are AGIs, the one that exist are shit and the best thing you have right now is a query retrieval or text recognition AI.
>AI is here
Has been here. ConvNets we’re already used in the 2000s in business checks for banks and it’s the only real job “replacement” that’s been done by AI, and that was only 10% of checks nationwide within the US. Meta already hired LeNet’s creator and is the head of their division. Google AI at the moment seems like a text recognition AI and a few sketch recognition AIs, which are impressive AND state of the art, but they’re not replacing shit. AI still has too far to go.
Then again you faggots are technologically inept. No point in trying to warn you, go dump your fucking money into some dumbass AI project that’ll never take off.

You sound like some college freshman that just took intro to computer science lol. The current version of chatGPT could replace the vast majority of data entry jobs literally right this second. You can go into notepad right now and write a bunch of random data then tell the bot how to organize it and make it into excel format i.e put all words that are medical related into column one, put all human names into column 2, put cities into column 3, etc. and it'll do it

I know what your spergy brain is thinking right now. "That's nothing REEEE!!!" Yeah, it's extremely impressive and useful and it's just the tip of the iceberg. Who knows what it will be capable in 5 years. Any profession that is highly dependent on organizing data will be heavily affected by AI to the point where I think we need only a fraction of the manpower we currently have in that area. If you actually worked in tech, you'd know how much help this AI is.

If anything, the one who sounds like a college freshman is the retard who thinks that you can replace someone with an AI and that’s it, it’s never going to be that simple.
>who knows what will be possible in 5 years
Yea. Just wait another 5 years. I’m sure in another 5 years that you’ll eventually have an AI that can think like a human and logically adapt to any situation you give it without bias or issues with the shit you train it on.
It’s not going to happen. Replacing an AI with a human would be incredibly dumb. Beyond errors, you’re losing the ability to have a simple interface of interaction, which is human to human interaction. You can do that with a human programmer, you can’t with an AI.
Stop huffing your own farts about how smart you are compared to everyone else because you’re desperately searching for something to talk about and seem smart to a majority of /biz/, who may as well be pretty technologically inept when it comes to understanding AI.

I love how you act like you know what you're talking about when you don't even work in tech LMAO.

>you’re losing the ability to have a simple interface of interaction, which is human to human interaction
Oh yeah, tons of human interaction going on when some data analyst is inputting scribbled notes from some nurse into a database hahaha holy shit you have no clue what you're talking about

You are retarded. I went to school for almost 8 years to be a guy who could manage and analyze data. Chatgpt makes me utterly obsolete. Yes, a human has to know how to ask it the right questions to do the job optimally, but my 12 year old nephew could get there eventually, not to mention you now only need a tenth the man power to write code. I promise you this took myself and many other smart anons by complete surprise and we are now the artists seeing the image AI for the first time, scared shitless if we are employable in five years. I want to be wrong; I am not.

I've been fucking around with it trying to get it to build a django app. It can make a working one but it's extremely shitty. If you ask it to implement changes they often won't work with previous code, across prompts it will change things like object names for no reason and get confused later on as to which it should use (protip: it's easier to just paste the code you want it to work with into the prompt)
If you ask it to do anything slightly difficult it will shit itself and say that's 'beyond the scope' of the platform although it doesn't always do this.
In its current state it's a decent tool but not a threat to people's careers imo
