I was doing well in my trading journey, I even thought I would not need to work again if I saved this money for the next bull market.

Everything changed in September 2022. I was diagnosed with panic disorder and my doctor prescribed me Paxil (an antidepressant) after a few weeks I was trading like a fucking degenerate, using my entire portfolio to long/short bitcoin and Ethereum on margin.

I lost my remaining $60K 2 weeks ago, and now I only have $1k to my name and I am about to turn 26 years old...

I feel suicidal, it's been 3 years since I had a job and I don't know what to do. I am not begging for money, I just want some advice. What would you do in my situation? I still live with my mom...

Can't tell if LARP or not. To put it plain and simple, anon you fucked up big time. First for taking antidepressants when all you probably needed was some sun, good sleep, and gym time (this doesn't fix everything, but it keeps most of the heaviest dark elements of life at bay). I know what you're going through. I failed to sell at the top when I peaked at $800k and now only have $120k. My advice to you is, stay the fucked away from leverage. Most of the loss porn I see is usually from leverage trading. I've never heard any good make it stories from leverage. Take it slow and steady. Hang in there and take this as an expensive learning lesson.

Maybe you will never understand until you experience it yourself, but being stressed 24/7 and having panic attacks out of nowhere wasn't healthy and I could not live like this anymore, the panic attacks would send me to the ER with high blood pressure and high heart rate for hours. holy shit, similar situation here except I'm a few years older and it happened around Dec'21, and the doc gave me zoloft which I finally weened myself off a couple months ago. and I only lost ~$120k,
firstly, DO NOT LET THEM GIVE YOU SSRIS FREN
secondly, there will always be moves to make in the market. best thing you can do for yourself is forget about it for a while and do things to ground yourself. read some books about philosophy. take up a new hobby. brainstorm ways to generate income that don't rely on you besting someone on the other side of the screen.
thirdly, this might happen again, and again, and again, but you will get stronger each time. the $120k I lost was built up from $2k... which was the remnants of $80k that I lost... whichw as built up from $500... which was leftovers from $30k I lost... etc... my observation has been that the amount lost grows larger every time, while the bottom remains the same
