How fucking stupid is this market? Even the people who pretend to “research” shit don’t even understand what they’re listening to when they hear the information.

Semiotic’s examples of “””””using AI”””” in the Graph was: (1) to test the protocol (fucking kek) and (2) to make peripheral tools, the only example being an automated pricing tool.

Neither of these things makes GRT an “ai coin”. AI is not used in the protocol itself whatsoever, it is still entirely run by humans. AI is only marginally used to run tests and make small utilities.

What the fuck is wrong with you people?

I studied machine learning / NN in grad school and write infrastructure code for deep learning/computer vision models at a fang . Reading this thread of people bickering about how GRT has anything to do with AI is painful. Yeah it's a cool protocol to make ETH queries cheaper. But so what? Any kind of networked operation (anything on the Blockchain!) Is too slow to go in a training loop. If you want the data off eth Blockchain for training purposes you would index the chain yourself and generate your dataset from that offline, way cheaper than millions of GRT queries. So what the fuck are you guys talking about. Enjoying the pump tho

Because now that we're out of the nasty part of the cycle, we can focus on slightly rational narratives about "the next big thing." It doesn't have to make sense, its a "Keynesian Beauty Contest." Like the dumbass metaverse coins with META, the AI coins only need a tenuous connection to AI shit to be a part of that narrative.

https://thedecisionlab.com/reference-guide/psychology/the-keynesian-beauty-contest

"The Keynesian Beauty Contest is an early theory in behavioral finance that describes how our perceptions of value can cause irrational fluctuations in supposedly rational systems. More specifically, it describes how short-term stock market fluctuations are not caused by changes in underlying value, but instead by investors attempting to figure out what others think the “average investor” finds valuable."

I can't speak for whatever the hell the other anon was shilling, but wouldn't you agree that aggregated smart contract data is a useful source of insights into an onchain protocol or class of onchain protocols, but is costly to extract and aggregate?

That would be the value proposition of data protocols. End users probably shouldn't have to be exposed to the token and quite frankly don't want to be, but rather revenue for requesting data should be redistributed to network participants, whereby a native token is traditionally the preferred means of doing this since the token can also be used by the team to fund R&D.
