I'm going to become a general contractor. I will do plumbing, electrical, roofing, painting, and landscaping. How can I profit from this?

Only engage with "good clientele".
Dont be afraid to decline work if it's a client you know you will hate dealing
with and regret.
Stay within your areas of interest, abilities and expertise.

Pretty sure that's a handyman and not a contractor. A contractor is like a broker who doesn't do the work themselves

Get a good accountant and consult a tax lawyer right out the gates to lower your tax burden

Do lots of meth and overcharge your clients for shittiest materials you can find possible. Get in arguments on the phone with clients complaining about work quality and threaten them that you are hiding behind several proxies of attornies. Become drinking buddies with local town council to get extra job security.
