Depends on your needs. They were never worth doing unless you had a need to preserve capital over a 12-24 month timeframe, and also poor enough that 10-20k in ibonds represents a substantial portion of your savings to make it worth setting up vs just dumping all your money into t-bills via your brokerage.

The gains were, and still are, pretty comparable to opening up any new bank or credit card account to get that $500 signup bonus. A lot of people go crazy over this type of shit though. Personally, I like to consider the opportunity cost of the time spent making them, plus the mental strain of maintaining and rotating multiple accounts.
In the end, it all boils down to how you value your time.
