The housing market is never going to crash, is it?

I've been wanting to buy a house in Massachusetts for years but now shit is getting too expensive. Would it be a good idea to move to Florida or Texas to buy a house?

Florida is the tits, Texas is stunning.
Why Massachusetts? You can't say Fallout 4 or I slap you really hard.
In your face.

>The housing market is never going to crash, is it?
It already bottomed. Buy now while you still can.
The main drivers of the housing market is the supply side.
>building a house for the ground up is very expensive; High Priced Labor and Materials
>Limited land where people want to live (Everyone wants to live in the city but not Ohio)
>fuck tons of red tape and zoning laws
And there is the used housing market supply shortage
>Old fart have fix 30 year debt at 3%... If they moved they would be giving up the 3% rate.
>BUT ANON PEOPLE DIE AND GET DIVORCED
yes, but it is not enough to keep up with demand.

Seriously this, the housing market from the little I know is under some high stress, you have to take what you can so find something that has some Cletus tier problems and do what you can to make it work. What I do know is that northeast you wont find too many of those not just because of the economic aspects of housing there but also just because things like regulations you wont be able to have things like that northeast, you cant really afford to have things like electricial, roofing, structural, etc. issues over there because it'll get so bad and cost so much. Try to find a cheaper state doesnt have to be texas or florida but a state you enjoy and find a house that needs work you can handle. If you dont want to hit down south pennslyvania is going to be hot down the line again but probably the best you'll get in that region without going midwest. Here in Texas we got good stuff just be a bit wary, I'd say look around dallas or san antonio if you're looking here, austin has some problems atm and unless youre there for business as well I'd say steer clear for a bit. Florida I know nothing on.

There are millions just like you, waiting for a dip, who would murder a child to buy a house with 5% dip. It's over

>>53555779
If it does they will keep interest rates high so Blackrock can slurp the dip with cash, you won't be able to compete.

I was looking at starter homes and looked at some fixer-uppers. Oh, boy did they need work... This was not some new flooring and kitchen makeover. This was roofing trusses because of termites and massive water damage from a 50 year old roof.
