what did satoshi mean by this?

so you want it to be decentralized and permissionless but you also want to prevent entities with lots of money from buying it? and you want to restrict how they're able to trade it too? decentralized just means you can transact however you want. it says nothing about the price

This was discussed a long time ago that along the adoption path there would be this period where smart money from legacy markets would make moves in bitcoin but not fully commit to it or understand what it is. Its just another ticker their algos allocate to, not that long ago it was uncorrelated enough to make it a good risk adjusted allocation to an aggressive portfolio. Now its just a higher beta tech stock.

When theres better regulation or people realize that bitcoin is actually just money and it trades at 10x gold’s market cap then the real fun start. The game theory is playing out. The first central bank to realize they can print fiat shit and buy the best money in history will be the biggest winner. Its a matter of time. They can fight it all they want but eventually they will submit to the corn.
