If you don't need it, put it into a stock that has a 5-6% APY dividend. You'll get about $15k per year. Pull it out and have your basic needs paid for (Rent/mortgage, food, utilities bills). Or reinvest it back into the fund. Really conservative growth 1-3% per year. Within 10 years that's around $500k. Passive income is the goal and when you have a spare $250k+ you might as well make it work for you.
