Blockchain isnt the future of anything, its a justification for a giant decentralised ponzi scheme. crypto is a ponzi looking for a use case. People are buying it because of its speculative value, hoping they can sell it on later for a profit at a later date, to someone who is also buying it to speculate on it and sell it at a later date. Its deflationary too, so why use it as a currency if its value keeps going up? Crypto is just a decentrilised ponzi and NFTs are another search for a usecase to keep the scam going. They provide no real value except speculation, nobody is using crypto for anything except drugs, and nobody buying now believes in the original usecase of creating a currency the gov cant control.

Look up the tulip bubble, beanie baby bubble, coin grading bubble, video game bubble etc.

imagine if corporations start using crypto as representations of ownership instead of stocks, completely eliminating the need for overly expensive exchanges ran by a corrupt and complex financial/banking cartel. It will start in some third world country and possibly never make it to the United States (due to corruption).

The applications are almost limitless. Records, data, communication exchanges, insurance smart contracts, smart contracts in general. A campaign is being launched as we speak to eliminate bitcoin because it wipes out at least half of the financial industry, and a large portion of other industries.

Unlike AI, blockchain solves the problem of trust without bias because it has no intelligence. Eg.
>Why shouldn't I bash the guy who fucked my wife?
The typical answer would be
>Because you will get in trouble with the police of whom the chief is conveniently the guys brother
The blockchain answer is
>Because it's unprofitable
In a blockchain society, cheating wouldn't occur in the first place.
Blockchain = people are blocks linked by chains made of sacrifices, but now, people don't make the decisions. The blockchain does.

>> No.53471361

>>53469554
If you want the refutation for this: can't just look at the asset's price through time. People buy that asset for some reason, thus you have to look at the societal context in which it was bought.
The Tulip Bubble and the Beanie Baby bubbles were just that: bubbles. Nobody had to buy either of those things. The "bubbles" that you see in Bitcoin do have local bubble-like mechanics because of the self-interaction of the system (what Soros calls "reflexivity"), but what they are really pricing is the likelihood of needing new money because of the existing money veering out of control. Rapid, alternating inflation and deflation are a sign of this. The inflation was kicked off by some other factor, of course, as it always is, but what you're really seeing is instability due to an increasing inability to keep the system stable.
Obviously YOU didn't reason this out, but, to some resolution, you brain is doing it. It wants to actually do the right thing, which is why there's all this content out there, trying to convince you not to do the right thing. If it were just some temporary madness, nobody would make videos or write an endless stream of articles about it. If something like the Beanie Baby bubble occurred today, either nobody would bother writing about it, or people would write the occasional somewhat bemused article.

When you can send money across borders for cents instead of dollars and receive it instantly…
When you won’t have to pay notaries because the house will be bought ont ce chain and save on the costs…
When they’ll make a cheaper Uber, a cheaper Airbnb, a cheaper taskrabbit because of a lack of commissions…
When you will be able to trade stocks like you trade Pokémon cards, and get paid instantly when you sell them, even on weekends…
When your taxes will be calculated instantly because (((they’ll))) know what you bought, what you sold, to whom, where and when…
When you’ll have to declare your carbon credits and be declined your «meat rights» for the week because you drove your diesel car too much last month…

Then you’ll understand that you should have bought into the system they use to track you. Do your research, find out the ESG CBDC globohomo champion coin.

This is what anarchism-lovers crypto bros hate to hear, but the average normie is in no way capable of using crypto in its current state to manage important sums.

Wallets needs to have more releasable names or numbers, you need a way to recover your account even if you lose your keys, you need some type of insurance against fraud and you need to be able to understand smart contracts as a whole.
There will be improvements in UX/UI of course, but I believe we will see institutions using more and more of crypto to bring it to the masses. It will be integrated in your phone, you will have decentralized recovery services, …

There will always be accidents but we will find a better way to protect people from themselves.
