What kind of online business can I start with 100k? Maybe sell furniture online? I just need to get out of the family business and start making money on my own

find something on alibaba that adds functionality to something people already use. pay brown people to put them together. example: buy a bunch of touch screen kits and cheap tvs, pay alibaba to install them, sell them online for 5x the cost

Most don't require any capital if you structure them right. You can give up margins for other people to take the risk on the capital. Generous terms with suppliers, customers, employees, merchants, etc...

The real question is what can you do that allows you to generate high margins and eventually capture a large enough market to be worth your time?

That's the hard part about business. Figuring out what to do & course correction to make sure you make a ton of money at the end.

You can't simply copy everyone else or less you will get average outcomes like everyone else.
