Easy for you to say when you aren't in the position

Its easy to think

>Oh if i have $2 million on binance, im just going to cash out to bank and be done with it and go live life

If you actually had that, like I did, you would see the daily opportunities to turn gain $200,000 on that $2million by press 2 buttons on your phone and getting lucky with a good trade.

I did this many times, everyday.

The problem is when you go from $100k to $500k to $800k to $1.2m to $1.7m to $2.5m, then you made 1 bad trade and end up back at $800k, then you try fixing that and go down to $600k, but then you start getting lucky again and it goes to $2.5m again, but then you go down to $1.0m again

The opportunity to make more and more money, it stops being about the money, it becomes like an addictive game

You have fallen for quite a few misconceptions about day trading. Firstly, daytrading futures is feasible but I won't spoon-feed anyone here anymore. I will just say that I don't mean crypto futures btw but rather S&P500 mini and the likes.
Secondly, you can beat S&P which just averages 10% a year. You make earn much more if you daytrade futures but it's true that it's nearly impossible to generate those returns if you daytrade stocks instead. Stay clear from the stock market in fact.

I make about $30-100 per day with a small amount of trading capital and a lot of reserves in case I need to hold assets. I believe the key is to trade with an amount that is really comfortable and does not stress you out, and to trade assets that you do not mind holding anyway. I also start every month with the exact same amount as when I started trading at the beginning of the month. after taking a monthly profit. There definetly a lot of better strategies and more profitable but when you want to make it as a trader i think the major role if you succed or not will be how much it does stress you.

Actually you should consider just trading 20 bucks, and see if you can stay in the market

Kek, a bit too moonboyish isnt it. Though I'd be honest i fucking put even my ALBT in a four year staking pool with the same hopium. Let's hope we're both right

day trading isn't real, there is no method, it's random luck, those who got lucky will boast, those who failed will disappear
survivor bias

big hedge funds don't make money trading
they are given free money via central banks and just ride the market with massive profits due to massive capital, they all get buried when the market goes down, but then quantitative easing bails them out.

Yes but don't fall for the meme discretionary shit like drawing magic patterns onto charts just trade in systematic way that is easy to backtest and has clear defined simple rules for exits entry and risk and life is 10000x easier.

in a range? swing tops and bottoms, break out immanent? keep 25% in reserves or only 25% in the market depending on which direction makes more sense. DCA in over a month or out, not over days. When euphoric, all in or all out.

I literally was 100% out before the 11 weeks slaughter and got in for a "quick gain" before getting back out and now i'm still posting on /biz/. maybe next time.

Hahaha you're that retarded to lock your alt bag for 4yrs in staking? What happens if it pumps hard and you need to take profits?

I'm staking GNS and RIDE and there's no way I'm locking either for that long

since im not a burger, no, i dont have any suggestions
maybe prop firms, but they have some funny rules you have to follow
you actually have the same things as cfds but called different, dont remember how theyre called
anyway i use pepperstone, they are aussies but good, many folks use IG markets, just make sure the dealer is actually regulated in either UK, AUS or EU

I would also never stake everything, just a portion I plan to hold long while keeping the rest on the sideline incase I ever need to sell for profits

you are a gambler my friend, the only scenario I can imagine where 1 trade can wipe out 6 months of gains is if you get raped by some crazy insane gap. If you have even the most basic risk management those kinds of losses shouldn't exist.
