Let's just say it's really hard for a sucker scam project to get any sort of validation from visa/mastercard

There are several projects that are working on credit cards right now actually afaik. The big issue has been regulatory approval and finding a bank that will work with a project like this but idk if any have an actual chance at getting it. There is a lot of potential though. I think the first project to successfully develop this product has the potential to make a huge impact in the market. This is an area that I would keep an eye on and look for developments because I think it could be a game changer.

Most of these were scams. There still are some credit card projects that are legit but they are more focused on building an infrastructure for online payments with crypto and they are not providing rewards or interest. Most of the credit card projects that promised rewards or interest were scams because it's not sustainable. It was just a way to trick people into buying more of their token. So always watch out for these kind of projects because 99% of them are scams.

So many of these crypto projects promise the world, and then they either fail or get caught up in scandals. Many of them are just outright scams and are only looking to make money off of the hype around crypto. This is why it is so important to be skeptical of any new project, and really do your research and due diligence before investing your money. I still think we will see crypto credit cards at some point, but I don't think they will be as revolutionary as some people have predicted. For now, they are still just a pipe dream.

What the fuck are you all talking about, several projects have already received approval from mastercard and american express and most of the whitelisted users got theirs. The only one i can think of the top of my head is XOR with the SORA card, its mastercard and people on reddit/telegram have proof using it. It only trades on debit/crypto tho, no credit as of yet.

Im sure if you look for it there are like 4 projects that are at the same stages.

Nice, I honestly haven't heard of many people who actually used crypto credit cards, but I think that is great. It is a step in the right direction towards more widespread adoption, and I think in the future we will see more and more of this kind of technology. So do you find it useful to be able to spend crypto directly with a credit card? What are the benefits in your opinion? Im curious since you have first hand experience

The lack of privacy of transactions is really hindering the adoption by these firms, nobody is going to use credit cards with all the transactions public.
