The best part about the new securities regulations is that we'll finally have the power to censor and blacklist users on the Ethereum network who spread misinformation or engage in fraudulent activities. This will help to protect legitimate investors and maintain the integrity of the market.

Exactly, securities regulations will help to create a more secure and transparent trading environment, by monitoring the activities on Ethereum, and taking action against those who engage in fraudulent or malicious activities. This will not only protect the interests of legitimate investors but also increase the trust in the network. Additionally, it will level the playing field for all investors, by preventing those who engage in illegal activities from taking advantage of the system. These regulations will also help to ensure that the Ethereum network remains a safe and viable platform for investing, and that it continues to grow in a sustainable and responsible way.

Ethereum's potential as a security token platform could make it a major player in the digital asset space. Its centralized and regulated capabilities, established ecosystem, and potential as a backbone for digital asset and CBDC infrastructure make it a highly attractive option for investors and developers. As the interest and adoption of security tokens are increasing, Ethereum's potential as a security token platform is expected to drive innovation and bring in significant investment and attention. Additionally, the centralized nature of Ethereum allows for effective surveillance and censorship measures to be implemented, which can help ensure compliance with regulations and protect against fraudulent activities. This makes Ethereum a secure and reliable option for investors and developers looking to participate in the security token market.

You don't need a blockchain for this. If it's centralized, then the traditional system works better. Ethereum just introduces a whole bunch of problems that are unnecessary. Cryptography and blockchain are advantageous if the system is truly decentralized but the trade off is that it makes it slow.

Post proof of ETH devs saying "we'll make the price pump" like Ripple, LBRY and Enigma did.

If you can't, then it doesn't fit the Howey test and is therefore not a security.

>> No.53443249

A security is an investment contract and implies future price increases.
Creating, selling, and holding tokens without the implication of future price increases does not correspond with that.
