It’s gotten me a job twice now which is good. Anytime I get a certification or something I just update my profile. It’s nice getting calls from recruiters with good offers to at least think about.

It makes me feel physically ill. I recently reactivated my account and used the free month of premium just to apply for jobs. It works pretty good for that. I just applied to a bunch of jobs in the job searching section and did a bunch of easy applies in between jobs, now the recruiters come to me. Every once a while they hit me with some good offers and I weigh it, but I do like how my job is so autopilot that it's not even funny. IT fag here btw

Everyone successful from my engineering undergrad has one. I don't have an account, but I do check sometimes where they work and I'm honestly happy to say I'm doing pretty alright compared to them without having to resort to superficial relationships and nepotism.

I sometimes wonder though if I should make one since I did get along pretty well with them and did have some good memories with them in college but I've never been the type of person to have social media.

I got one job through it, and a handful of interviews/offers. I found it better than Indeed which I used when I first got out of university.

I never friend request former bosses, employees, etc. I let people friend me if they want. Refuse to add a photo of myself, as I try to keep my social media/online presence to a minimum besides shit I can't control (white papers, etc). Don't allow people to endorse any stuff I have listed.
