I shared it here a few weeks ago just didn't want to be a shill
it's RKLB

Here's a copy+paste of the post I made about it
RKLB
small launch space company
what really sells it to me that it's artificially low is that when you look at the news stories on finviz every time there is a massive drop in price it's always on news of success which doesn't make sense

>Soyuz rockets are off-limits now because of Russia sanctions so US needs another launcher for their cold war with china
>shitloads of contracts with the govt and private companies, NASA, DARPA, Lockheed, etc
>launch more rockets than every other small launch provider combined
>100% mission success rate
>own the worlds only privately owned rocket launch pad
>There are only 3 companies that produce space grade solar panels used on satellites and they acquired the biggest one in 2022
>massive progress towards reusable small launch rockets
>have recovered rockets that have re-entered earth and test fired them again and they performed at the same level as new built rockets, even after being dunked in the ocean
>developing larger reusable rocket that will launch 2024 and absolutely dabs on spacex
>history of innovation, first ever 3d printed rocket
>Founder led company, CEO owns 12% of the shares and hasn't sold even though it's dropped 57%

They have a bit of debt because they acquired 4 different companies in 2022 but they are all best in class 100% mission success rate companies that allow basically every component to be developed in-house
They only went public in 2020 so not a lot of financial info which I think is one of the reasons for their low price as well
from what I can tell among space enthusiasts they are basically universally well regarded

also just today they had their first successful launch from US soil

And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Nobody actually owns anything with a brokerage. You can cover your ass by having a cash-only account without options, margin, or share-lending enabled but even then you're just putting your broker in a position where if they don't have your shit they don't have a legal out to not pay you for it when you sell, but even then, they retain the right (read the ToS) to liquidate any position held with them at any time. Direct registration with the transfer agent of whatever company you're invested in is pulling shares out of the DTCC and assigning them to you, directly, with the same rights as paper shares in your hands. I'd argue paper shares are the better choice unless it's not possible because your company or their transfer agent isn't issuing them anymore. It's a non-issue unless you're an activist investor and want to prevent fuckery, naked short selling, and punish short sellers for stacking up failures to deliver like the USMC stacks dead bodies.

this is a bad idea - you should not be selling stocks buying gold, as this is the same trade pretty much, but with even more exposure to the move in the dollar
you should pull up the chart for the dollar, DXY relative strength, and see how it has been moving. after looking at it, do you think that the dollar is going to keep falling, or do you think it will go flat or go up from here
you should only buy gold if you're 100% certain that it will keep falling from here
but I should warn you that short dollar is the most crowded trade in the entire market right now, everybody is short dollar (when everybody is short something.. blah blah blah..)
I would not be going long gold here, I would be going short - but that's just me

While I'll admit there's every chance in the world a reputable brokerage like fidelity isn't playing footsies with not actually holding people's shit, the singular only ways to guarantee you have your shit with all the rights you should have is to have paper shares in your fucking hands or have them direct registered with the transfer agent for your company and removed from the DTCC. Tongue my fucking anus.

Gonna be honest I am still new to all of this and I was unaware that you could still purchase paper IRL stocks and didn't even think of calling the companies and just going directly through them to invest in them. I understand what you are saying about the brokers cause it's the same fuckery the faggots at crypto "exchanges" pulled, but, it sounds like a massive pain in the ass gonna be honest. Also, I want to get into options, so, that sounds like an even larger nightmare. With my broker its quite easy to open these positions. For me, personally, as a retard retail investor/trader.

You basically hit the nail on the head. Having paper shares in your hands or having them direct registered with their transfer agent is analogous to having crypto in a wallet you control and have full custody over, whereas having them with a brokerage is the same as having crypto with a broker. Some are reputable and won't fuck you around because they're not retarded and aren't broke, some will absolutely rug you as soon as they get the chance and laugh about it all the way to the bank leaving you with very little legal recourse to recover what you lost. It honestly only matters for company insiders, activist investors, and dividends chads. If you're gambling or just want to hold a stock and clear 10% or so on a move you're expecting or want to fuck with options, a (reputable) broker is the superior choice.

You buy shares with a broker and then do a DRS transfer with their support staff, and once it's settled with the respective transfer agent you can then request delivery of paper certificates or just keep them with the transfer agent if you wish/if the company is not issuing paper shares as is their right. Takes about a week, and if your broker tells you it'll take longer than 3-5 business days ask to speak with a compliance manager in their back office so you can explain to them that's illegal and a delay of this transfer is proof of fraudulent bullshit. They'll magically get it approved and started and give you the confirmation number within the hour.

I also agree with you in regards to dollar moving higher as interest rates rise / terminal rate rises

One could say the line has been broken with dia, but a hedge fund investor said dia doesn’t lead the way. He said tech usually leads the way, but big tech and qqq are lagging, so what is? Nvda is already golden cross. Soxx and semis are leading the way. Soxx has already surpassed the 50 weekly. If you look at the macro (war with Russia and china in particular) you will see semis play an important part with guidance and targeting, in addition to the usual but obsolete big tech plays like googl, fb, aapl, msft. Semis will also play an important role in ai. TLDR: all in soxl. And if we loose, well, it’s only money and there will be worse things to consider.

Market or limit sell, some transfer agents won't let you set limit sells like AST but most will. As for paper shares you sign them and mail them to your brokerage where they're converted back to digital entry or can be limit/market sold as applicable. Takes longer, obviously, but entirely possible. If you were really based you could sell them in person on the NYSE floor or have someone that took the clot shot do it for you if you're pureblood.

yes, personal savings rate has completely crashed
yes, credit card debt is all time high, huge spike ups, consumer is unable to make ends meet without their credit card - using it for basic needs like groceries and gas. the delinquency rate is rising fast. the consumer is tapped out
>discover CEO on earnings
>pic related
credit card rates are at 19% with all time high debt, while people are being laid off / the economy is going into a recession
good video on it put out yesterday:
https://youtu.be/QysrLTLDeNo
>Another question, how long will the US equity market ponzi scheme keep inflating?
every week there are still automatic buying inflows..
>how long
in this earnings season reporting Q4, it is more mixed, as the economy didn't really start shitting the bed until late november into december. people should be concerned that these earnings have been (this) bad when the economy was not even in a recession yet. forward guidance is also terrible across the board. Q1 earnings will be even worse than Q4 earnings, as the recession will have actually been 'here' for the full quarter of Q1 not just the final month.
so it could be this quarter, or it could be next, when we see the next leg down
there is also a high chance that the next CPI report reflects the broad move higher in energy over the past month, and it surprise to the upside, that could be another potential catalyst
Fed guidance for the terminal rate moving higher could also 'help' (25 vs 50 doesn't matter / is already decided, all that matters is forward guidance)
important to emphasize that the earliest a recession has ever occurred after Fed rate hike cycle began was 11 months later - we are currently only 10 months in. the huge 75bps hikes didn't take place until over the summer - those will also lag and will not be reflected in the economy for a long time

If you're an insider to a company, guess where you hold your millions of shares? Paper shares or with the transfer agent. Vested and restricted vested shares? Transfer agent. Only proles and gamblers use brokerages, dividends chads and future UHNWI thads and higher ups use transfer agents or if they're really based hold paper shares. In fact I'm one of the very few people that has a paper share of GME and I picked it up before they stopped issuing them in early 2021. Again, suck my balls. Brokers are great if you're gambling or don't have options/margin/share lending enabled and believe in a company while wanting the fastest execution, if you want to piss in the face of those who commit fraud you use a transfer agent. >people should be concerned that these earnings have been (this) bad when the economy was not even in a recession yet. forward guidance is also terrible across the board. Q1 earnings will be even worse than Q4 earnings, as the recession will have actually been 'here' for the full quarter of Q1 not just the final month.
We've already been in a recession since early last year if you account for inflation in the actual cost of living.

I agree - I am talking only about the really bad economic data prints, prior to end of November, the economic data we were seeing was "ok"
after November it began to get really bad, and you can see it reflected in earnings reports, which will only get worse for this quarter

The sole fact that those 2 assets are even compared is quite worrying to me. Penny stocks represent a real company (unless it's a scam) that produces real-world value. Crypto just yet another get rich quick / pump n dump scheme that produces no real value.
It worries me, because it seems like people just want to gamble. Doesn't matter what they are buying as long as the price moves. Might as well play in casino at this point.

I check yearly IR presentations and CCs from 2 last quarters. Those include both financial statements + breakdown by product and market + future plans + report on the progress on ongoing projects.
I also check balance sheet when summary is sketchy, but without understanding given industry I don't see a reason to go much in-depth. Often I just compare it with competition to get an idea where the given company stands.

Make predictions on smaller time scales. The entire idea of an algorithm is that it is a pattern in a way designed to be predicted.

You absolute poor summer child. Everything in the market is about cycles. Short to really fucking long.

Growth vs value, large vs small cap, domestic versus international. To put it into context, domestic equity has only beaten international by a single percent. And all of its out performance has come post 2009.

A lot of new money went into that shit. Wallstreetbets was never the same. Reddit was creaking under load. Their daily sticky threads turned into a chatroom with how fast it was getting comments.
All that new money was unable to cope with the loss. The old money retards made out like bandits. The new money remained and even bought more. And more.
All. The. Way. Down.
And then in the middle of it all it began to become qanon. They didn't lose money because they were retards, they lost money because of conspiracies. Two weeks. They were supposed to make it all back in two weeks. The mother of all short squeezes. Not just gme, amc and some other retard plays too.
