He never had those 41 billion. He had Tesla stocks. He still has them. Unless he's sold them

he won't recoup it, he'll 100x it when twitter becomes a global payment app that can rival wechat in china except globally. and yes dogecoin bitcoin and litecoin will be included b/c of them being p2p, along with services like plaid or other integrations with the legacy system. pretty much a universal ID of sorts. this allows for carbox credits to be implemented later on. elon knows what he is doing.

He has assets, measuring assets in terms of their monetary value is always silly after a certain point. So here's the best answer I can give to this question while ignoring the price tag.

>Had multiple major corporations with stock prices that rode largely on his personal reputation
>Put on a still ongoing shit show that did major reputational damage to himself
>Bought one of the major social media platforms
>Caused a mass exodus of users and advertisers and crippled its operations with bone deep cuts to its staff, will almost certainly result in some kind of bankruptcy
>Used his assets in a company he acquired (Tesla) as collateral for buying assets that are likely to go tits up, might lose them as a result of bankruptcy
>Is now dancing with various criminal charges, I assume because a bunch of his wealthy and powerful friends are no longer protecting him

Elon Musk is unlikely to ever actually fully recover from this unless he gets a random lucky break that results in his other assets suddenly skyrocketing in value or his reputation somehow does a 180. Neither of which is likely but the first of which is at least possible.
