Honest question.
If your only purpose in buying crypto is to accumulate more dollars then how is bitcoin an asset or an investment? If it's only purpose is to (hopefully) be worth more money then it is neither an asset nor an investment but a speculation.

And then it's definitely not a store of value. Stores or value don't lose 50% of their value in one year.

So surely you can see the Dillman? You guys say all kinds of words to justify to yourself like "asset" and "store of value" but crypto is neither or those things.

Is there anything you can tell me that isn't just you doing mental gymnastics or desperately using smart words to deny the fact that you're nothing but a bunch of uneducated, normie tier npc faggots, probably low testosterone sheep?

If this little rally you're currently experiencing (for no reason by the way) turns out to be nothing and dumps even more will you consider the possibility you're wrong?

Would you look at something like gold which lost none of its value last year and is likely to go up this year (and gold miners even more so) and realize that is a better investment?

Will you kill yourselves and free up the precious resources being wasted on you?

How many exchanges have gone poof in the last year? Surely those were just outliers right? Kind of like communism? It just hasn't been done correctly yet?

And no, I will not help you or give you any tickers because you are cancerous moronic faggots that have plagued the entire investing community and society for the last two years.

Absolute cancer you are. Frothing moronic retards ass backwards pants on head fucking retards. I will not help you. You deserve everything coming your way.

Nice bait, but for year after year gold has bled against Bitcoin, while your rocks get manipulated so badly that in the long term, gold can't even keep up with inflation. You must be seething so hard over it.

I hold metals and Bitcoin. You don't understand and that's fine but Bitcoin is unironically a better store of value than gold. The problem is that you're paying more attention to short term volatility than you are to fundamentals. You'll be fine with gold and miners though.

>If your only purpose in buying crypto is to accumulate more dollars then how is bitcoin an asset or an investment?
You only mention bitcoin here but you mention crypto as a whole later on in the bait so I'll answer to that. There are a few advantages that can (will) come from crypto:
- Privacy (only reveal the parts of your data that are absolutely necessary to use an application using zksnarks)
- Speed (process cross-border transactions near instantly in comparison to how its done today)
- Price (companies will save a shitload on compliance for processing transactions in the jurisdictions they operate in)
- Transparency
There are also some interesting ideas like smart contracts that encode the rules of a contract, faster to execute the contract and no expensive lawyers to interpret it. Then there's also the idea of tokenization which allows fractional ownership in physical assets and some other things. Some of the details still need to be worked out so its more so that we're betting on who will solve them first or better.

this is a) wrong b) moving goal-posts c) moving the goal-posts completely the wrong way, so that your team loses instead of wins
bitcoin has a fixed-supply mechanism, and just like real fixed-supply currencies like "good money" gold and silver coin have been, gresham's law dictates that adding credit-expansion will kill them and replace them with the alternative "bad money" -- in this example the US dollar
https://tontinecoffeehouse.com/2019/10/07/from-thalers-to-dollars/
the US didn't create silver dollars, it inherited good money silver coinage from the tradition of using the joachimsthaler, hundreds of years earlier
