There’s only two reasons for someone logically to waste this much time discussing link here, either they hold it, or they held it at one time and want to convince themselves they made the right decision to sell. Effectively you’re employing the spoonfeed via fud strategy and/or simply sating your ego. We all know docusign, oracle etc were nothingburgers or at least put on the backburner and link is attempting to pivot towards swift as their main initial usecase. I’m honest with myself, I don’t think I’ll have any chance of successfully swinging if there is an insider’s frontrun moment like eth got, so I’ve staked and hold. I would like to see an anon put their money where their mouth is and successfully catch such a pump were it to happen though, because I’m positive there’s a few anons out there who are aiming to do just that. Also, you said "private chains absolutely do not need a "Decentralized oracle network", the source of the data is literally the company themselves".
So when transacting from private chain A (run by bank A) to private chain B (run by bank B), how are both of these banks/chains "the source of the data" at the same time?

Your stupidity has so many layers I'm honestly having trouble coming to grips with the full scope of it.

You knew that link was an ERC 667 token. You seem to be somewhat smart and you know alot about the token you are fudding. If you have done your due diligence on link, which is what is implied, then you must've realised that it will be used by swift and the banking cartel for CCIP, defi and CBDCs. So you know link is valuable but you're just fudding to keep people out so you can accumulate more, because this fud clearly isn't stemming from ignorance, just evil.

Well he already admitted to owning a suicide stack, claims to be a demoralized bagholder that sold most and I guess follows for... some reason? This is what I don't get, there are anons that have convinced themselves that if it somehow happens, they can be unemotional and get back in before it does. But markets don't work like that. You won't get the swift news while link is at the bottom and be allowed to buy back in. What will actually happen is insiders will frontrun the news, but your bearish bias will keep you out and convince you that "this rally will fail like all the rest". Then you might even see a retrace, but it doesn't go to your buy level, it bounces and keeps going up. And you tell yourself you'll catch the next one.

Just for a reminder of how sudden eth's pump was, it went from about $8 in December 2016 to $290 before the first significant pullback... which went to $200. I promise you there are anons scared to death of something similar happening with link and them missing out. For some, its why they hold with a deathgrip and will never sell. For others, its why they fud with such ferocity, because they want to reassure themselves they made the right decision, and they won't be that eth anon who sold too early. But I guarantee it'll happen to some. Fuck there are still anons who occasionally admit they sold before the initial google pump, or the 5-20 pump, and never got back in.

I mean its been a while since we've actually discussed the oracle problem on here, but the entire issue is that centralized permission blockchains are somewhat pointless without a decentralized oracle network, no? Otherwise you might as well just run everything on a centralized server, blockchain not needed. If there is interest being shown in DLT, it effectively needs the oracle layer to have relevant usage in the real world. Or you need to run everything on a single decentralized chain like Vitalik envisioned, but that will likely never be the case.

Chainlink/decentralized oracles is a nascent technology, even more nascent than blockchains themselves. So keep in mind it is literally starting from nothing and didn't have a single main net price feed until June 2019 (running on 3 nodes lmfao).
