The point I was making was it's not the volume making the run up, it's the subsequent volume preceeding it to crush the price back down. It's hard to know whatever the person who said up that order knows, but it's likely they're setting up that order the same reason retail has bought into the stock, that a volatile squeeze upward could happen, really fast, and they want to catch it and have their order in first so it doesn't wait in line when the time comes. It doesn't guarantee certainty of a $125 price being achieved, but it can mean someone thinks it's possible like retail here does. I see these orders too on my trading platform, there a good piece of data but you have to take them with a grain of salt.

It's worth nothing, sometimes hedgefunds are clever and wear out retail by delaying a short squeeze or misconstruing when it may happen, which could be happening here, but that's just an assumption. They know people will get worn out waiting for it to happen and so they capitulate sooner. But they could also put the order in just to fuck with someone looking at it.
