don't buy any sort of art, design or collectible if you don't want to keep it. It is the most difficult thing to speculate in.

I wear a silver f91w when I'm feeling fancy, and a black one when I'm not. It's a bigger statement than any $20,000 Rolex can ever be.

I wore that watch when I started out and all the way up. I'll wear it now that I made it. Feels comfy looks mysteriously retro.

Can I afford a nice watch? Yes I could buy one with cash today right now, but I won't. I think they are vanity statement, and I'm beyond that.

I'm trying to offload some art right now and the spread on estimates is insane.
Literally goes from low 5 digits to mid 6 digits.
Complete crapshoot, literaly depends on how somebody feels as they hold the paddle or press the button on their computer.

Why is Tissot shilling here every day now? It's bizarre, frankly.

Your "fancy watch" is the silver colored resin F-91W, not a steel A-158 or something?
Either way, this is based.

>Thinks an expensive watch is a vanity statement. Still wears a digital watch that no one needs to have strapped to your wrist.

That is wild. I'm guessing watches and wine aren't that extreme.

The safest way to earn on art is how the big collectors do it. Create a gallery and promote artists in your collection and then donate the art to institutions. You can write off taxes with it. That is the best way to do it and what many rich people use art for.

Maybe people like Tissot? I like Tissot, fine entrylevel swiss heritage brand. I wanted one of those PRXs that the guy posted. or a Gentleman Powermatic 80. They have a lot of different faces, similar to the Seiko 5s. The Seikos are probably a better bang for your buck tho. unless you want to buy a quartz tissot for some reason.

It's Watch Charts' index of luxury watches, not one particular model.

Imagine storing your wealth in non-fungible, illiquid, unlimited supply, hard to verify, depreciating, physical collectibles created at the whim of a mega-cooperation when Bitcoin exists.

You can take a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.
