I recently dropped out of my university (US) because I realized I fucking hate school. I’m thinking of going into some facet of technician work or refinery operations. Does anyone have any advice on how to maximize my options in either field? How do I get hired on at a good company?

Call companies and see what tickets/certs they desire. do those. apply. Also helps if you make a friend in the industry.
