In 2020 we were hit with multiple rate increases up to 11% total then getting hit with another 5% effective 1 Feb. That is the new benchmark. Pricing never go down. At best, they may remain flat for a year like they did in 2016.

When they make money, they can invest internally in growth, they can buy back shares, or they can pay large dividends.
The price of oil can remain flat but as long as it flatlines at a profitable level, these companies will continue to make money. This increases their stock value over time.
As long as tech, climate, and ESG trannies all write off oil/coal/NG permanently, the stocks will remain cheap enough that they can compound at a higher rate than that tech trash they love so much.

I know an engineer/machinist making the superstructures of simulators that won’t even call me back when I try to get him to make me more lifting bails. He’s onboarded 50% more employees over the last 2 years and his shop is completely full of parts, new manufacturing equipment etc. Another machinist I know just moved to a bigger facility, isn’t pressed to take on my work because he’s busy as fuck without it. A guy I’m about to talk to tomorrow took two weeks to answer my calls and he’s shuffling equipment around his facility and tearing down walls and hiring people. I’m back ordered about 50 units worth roughly $700-$900 a piece and I’m the sole employee of my company (self employed). No one I know is hurting for work right now. Steel was in short supply for a while due to demand but the steel companies seem to have finally caught up.
