Mantle can now scale Ethereum like no L2 has ever done before
cope + seethe + dilate

>> No.53318451

>>53318406
>the solution to scalability is another L2
how is this it different than other already existing L2s like Arbitrum or Optimism?
>this one is different trust me

>> No.53318469

Eth hit its all time highs because of mining and fucking NFTS, monero has more fucking use case than this shit

>>this one is different trust me
except that it literally is. Mantle is literally the only modular L2 on Ethereum right
Arbitrum doesnt come anywhere near

>> No.53318488

>>53318477
Explain this modularity. I understand EigenLayer but is there something else?

>> No.53318505

>>53318469
no, ETH hit its all time high because the entire market was in a bull frenzy
its only NOW that companies are starting to build on Ethereum through L2s and with modular rollups now in the picture, mainstream adoption will finally be feasable

I'm not saying Monero doesnt have any use cases. It will be of extreme value once CBDCs and carbon scores take over. But I think its sill to say that Monero has more use cases than Ethereum

>> No.53318556

>>53318488
okay so basically monolithic L2s (abri, op, loopring, etc.) still need to do their tasks in a serial manner (one by one)
Modular L2s like this one will do multiple tasks in parallel at once

Mantle for example deploys three layers
>Layer 1: execution
>Layer 2: finality
>Layer 3: data availability

If you understand EignLayer then you should understand how they are able to retain security from Ethereum

>> No.53318572

>>53318556
nice. but that doesnt change the fact that gas is paid in BIT not ETH

>> No.53318626

>>53318572
Check EignLayer that OP and anon were talking about >>53318556 >>53318488
The way that BIT is staked on Eign makes then chain completely immutable with 100% of its security borrowed from Ethereum

Mantle could have easily made gas in ETH but they purposely went with BIT in order to incentivize devs to build on the chain
Just look at Arbitrum. No one wants to build there. The only reason they have this much TVL is cause its old money on there

>> No.53318647

>>53318626
this.
i have no idea who the fuck still uses arbitrum
its slow, way more expensive than competitors, and barely has any new development happening on chain

people are just too lazy to move their money off of there
