Things are different this time. The economy is going to slow down due to deglobalization. Tax revenue will fall, prices rise and fiat currencies will lose value as they get printed to fulfill budget deficits. Retail won't play a big part in this bull run, it'll be institutions and companies looking for something better than cash and treasuries. Some stocks will moon and others will crash. I don't think I'll be trying to time a blow off top this cycle because I could picture Bitcoin just going up further than most people think it will, as large entities look for safety. It'll be gold vs Bitcoin in the future while fiat currencies get sorted out. Satoshi set up the halving cycles to nurture adoption but Bitcoin may get to that level where nurturing is no longer needed and the cycle won't have much impact anymore. People holding for this and the next cycle will probably make it. Watch if this year if Bitcoin starts moving up quick, pricing out most retail and everyone will say the market is front running the halving but that may not be the case.
