Let's unpack this, cryptocurrency solves the following:
>Nothing

But seriously, it's harmful to the central banking system and
environment. If you want to lose all your money then just donate it to charity instead.

>> No.53295575

Crypto solves the problem of not being able to send money anonymously.

I can now do that with Monero. That is at least one problem solved by crypto.

Cryptocurrency allows an open market of IP systems. (intellectual property)

It is "harmful" to the global financial system because it is a competitor.

It's just business and we're going to take it back.

An open market for intellectual property would just be a loophole for sanctions imposed on Russia, Iran, North Korea and other enemies of Democracy.

There is one problem being solved, and that's providing global banking liquidity. The problem is the rest of crypto thinks banks will be magically usurped by their internet magic money so they're ignoring this

Implying they did at the best interest of you instead of top elite, e.g Lebanon. Only you yourself can protect your own money.
>environment
It inevitable for environment continue to degrade as long world population continue to increase.
>donate it to charity
Charity doesn't eliminate the source of problem and it will continue be a leech. Mind you that UN food programme has been going since 1961 and yet fail to solve world hunger instead of implementing sustainable food system in famine country other than relying rich country for donation.

if the majority of the people buying a thing are only buying a thing because they think that thing is going to go up and then they will sell at peak, leaving everyone else to hold their bags, then that is no different than a ponzi scheme. even crypto bros who admit that exchanges are shitty like ftx, or nfts are a scam, they don't see that the original coins themselves are NO DIFFERENT

the only 'usecase' crypto solves is syphoning money out of a traditional financial system into a new one. whatever the value proposition is doesnt matter. bitcoin is no different to doge is no different to chainlink is no different to eth u get the picture. all these different coin just have different value propositions which attract different types of investors. however at the end of the day still nothing has been created, which is exactly as intended
