Stocks will keep going down at least until they start going up again. We will know for sure when that happens because price changes will switch from a downward direction to an upward one. The main indicator that we can use to identify this switch is that we will start to see stock prices rising instead of falling. The image in my previous post is outdated. It's not my latest model. It only uses the simplest assumptions to predict PE & earnings. Previous pic rules:

You just don't have access to the trading or information.
