Powell is actually going to pull off a soft landing. He's been televising the actions so that the markets react ahead of time. He even mentioned this in his nov meeting. It's not going to be a 2008 GrEaT RecCesSion where even lawyers can't get jobs at Applebees. It's going to be a big fat nothing burger. Some companies will lose out on earnings, some obvi companies will go bankrupt, but ultimately there aren't any surprises. Housing will go down maybe 10-15% in some markets but continue the climb. Other markets will see a 2-3% decline. The people who get laid off at Meta & Google will find a job in 3months at some other place getting paid hefty. It's not even going to be 2000 dot com recession. Hell we might actually already be in one. That's why the markets are pumping. Because it's a nothing burger. BTC to 100-150k
