Get a washrag wet and as hot as you can get it in the microwave. Once it cools just enough to be able to be wadded up and pressed against your offending ear, do so, ideally with the offending ear facing downwards and steam working its way up into the ear. You'll need to do it quite a few times most likely, but it'll eventually loosen things up and clear out.
Another thing that might make it work even quicker is going to sound wild but it works. Mix a shot glass half isopropyl alcohol and half distilled white vinegar. Tilt your head with the problem ear facing up and pour it in. It'll burn a little, but you'll notice it's just skin on the outside burning. Give it a few seconds to work its way in, then go lay with that side facing down to drain out. Repeat a few times. You can go fact check me with a quick googling that this isn't dangerous, even though it sounds sketchy.
Stop using Q-tips to clean your ear canal. If you can't reach it with your pinky, it shouldn't be cleaned out. Q-tips compact it down deep and cause this.

3% Hydrogen peroxide in your ear while you lay down. Let it sit for 2-3 minutes then empty into a sink.
It will cure ear infections fast. Just make sure to buy 3% sold in most stores.

Wash it out with the shower. Tilt your head and shower upwards. Then put in olive oil. DON'T SCRATCH. If it gets infected use boronic acid. Applying etheric oils AROUND the ear canal also helps a bit. Camphor or teatree

CVS sells an ear cleaning kit that has hydrogen peroxide in it. You put some in the ear and you wait 10 minutes while you lie on your side. Then, you get up and drain it at the sink. It also has a syringe that squirts water into your ear to break up the now soft ear wax and a ton of wax should fall out.

Without a syringe or bulb to shoot warm water in your ear, wax softening solutions are useless. Used to struggle with this for years. Now i just blast my ears with warm water ince a month. Make sure it’s warm or you’ll feel nauseous!!
