Sounds like a based boomer run LCS. Is it in BC? If so you should hook a fren up and tell me which one lol. I think Canadian junk is slept on because 0.80 fineness, but I like it because the silver voyageurs are 0.6oz silver and have one of the best sounding pings IMO. Sometimes I get them for $20 a pop from my LCS which I think is decent.

I mostly invest in silver by buying old quarters, dimes, and half dollars. I’m trying to get most silver per dollar and doing it this way works cuz premiums are low on old Washington quarters and stuff. But I worry… the value of silver in the coming decade is gonna come from the fact that it’s used massively in electric cars and solar panels and computers. Consumption is going crazy and the price of silver hasn’t adjusted. So I wonder… if a company is desperate for silver for panels or something is 90% silver coins gonna be worthless since they’d have to refine the silver out of it to make the silver pure enough for panels?

For a seated lib to look that "nice" in only a 53 there's gotta be something horribly wrong with the luster. If you tilt it and aren't getting a strong cartwheel effect that would explain the grade. Because I see full lines on both shields, strong stars, and a practically perfect eagle. Although it's PCGS, they do retarded shit a lot more than NGC and that's an old holder. It does look really good as far as details go.

I dunno man, based on the fact that this coin is in a old green holder means that this coin was graded by PCGS back in the early 90's.
You never know, grading back then wasn't as consistent as it is today and I think that it easily has potential to upgrade to an AU55 or 58. The details are too sharp to justify an AU53.
I already bought the coin and I guess that Im already gambling $700 on it so I guess I'll see how it goes.

Well good luck, it's got a lot going for it and looks nice. Try NGC, they tend to be SLIGHTLY tougher (by about a point) but also way less likely to do retarded shit like PCGS (probably cleaned grading service), if they see even one odd spot on a coin PCGS calls it cleaned while NGC tends to grade much straighter. I'm biased but NGC holders are also much nicer looking, PCGS reminds me of that clear blue plastic used for inflatable pool toys.

Do governments continue to print currencies out of their assholes to oblivion and fistfuck you with it? If the answer is yes, then it means you still are early and should be stacking as if your life depended on it (it does).

It's really as simple as that. With metals, they can't cheat you anymore. You traded your workforce for somebody else workforce. While with fiat, you traded your workforce for a meaningless promise they are breaking each passing second. It all bow down to this eventually : do you trust your government to be financially wise and respect your work, or do you acknowledge they are devaluing your time and work with every trick possible in the book?

Junk is superbased, as long as you don't overpay for it. As long as the silver you buy is an unit of account and recognizable (meaning it display the purity, the weight, and the mint who casted it), you are bueno.
Junk have on top of this the extra bonus of being legal tender made by the US mint, and is widely known (help for liquidity and trust).

The only kind of silver you should avoid at any cost are :
>silver coins/medals with purity below .700
(too costly to refine)
>silver who isn't recognizable
(like silver shots, or jewels with no hallmarks, or home made poured bars... anything who isn't widely recognized/doesn't have a "label")

Me too. I'm a zoomer so while I had access to hand-me-down vintage Lego, I had more new sets than old. I remember trying to make my own builds as a kid in the old space style.
>what are you most nostalgic for?
I liked the Johnny thunder theme I had all the minifigs but none of the sets so I made my own shit up. That was fun. I also liked Chima, the alien invasion theme, and monster fighters or whatever it was called. Those sets were pretty badass.

>If you had invested £1,000 into the US Dollar at the beginning of January, it would have finished the year at £1,118 (up 11.8%), reaching a peak of £1,246 on September 23rd.

>Coming in a very close second was Gold, ending 2022 on £1,117. Traditionally known as a safe haven when markets are struggling, Gold was leading the pack between February and May, amidst the beginning of the Ukraine and Russia conflict.

https://www.acsh.org/news/2019/11/09/bleach-death-restaurant-manager-can-be-explained-simplest-chemical-reaction-14389

The take-home message from this awful accident is that anytime you are using bleach and notice a color change (especially green), gas being formed, or a swimming pool-like smell, leave the area immediately and call 911.

I didn't know that it created a literal poison cloud like in video games. I think mustard gas is why I thought they would all be yellow.

To be honest no one knows what's going to happen. The seasonality trend points to dips in March, but many of us are expecting hyperinflation in the next few months with April being the earliest it happening.

In regards to the custom silver rounds you guys have been buying and designing, are these physically made by people here? Or do they approach a company and pay an upfront cost to produce a designated amount, and then they act as a middle man and sell them? I have no idea how to word this.

I bought three blocks when they first came out to play around with.
No, they don't perform like the real thing.
The pins will help keep the blocks stacked or in line, but there's a lot of play and rocking. These are poured, and I think machining would do a better job but at a very much higher cost.

Funny thing about Bitcoin. I have literally zero experience with ecoin of any sort, but have been watching Bitcoin's prices for maybe two years now. I've seen it drop from $48k at my start to $16k a couple of months ago, and climb back up to its current $19k (that's an 18% gain off the floor!). It's too volatile for my nerves, but it seems like it found the bottom and has been enjoying some growth. Can't say how long that will last of course.

Intaglio Mint, probably on commission from the Reddit Silverbugs. They're 2-ozt rounds with very high relief. Check out limitedmintage.com. Every once in a while they either make? or find? some more and will sporadically have a few for sale. I bought these as they came out in 2018 from JM Bullion.

treat it as a hobby, not a store of value. It's no different from comic books/stamps/trading cards so nothing wrong with it, it's just a different purpose than silver/gold stacking is
