I mostly invest in silver by buying old quarters, dimes, and half dollars. I’m trying to get most silver per dollar and doing it this way works cuz premiums are low on old Washington quarters and stuff. But I worry… the value of silver in the coming decade is gonna come from the fact that it’s used massively in electric cars and solar panels and computers. Consumption is going crazy and the price of silver hasn’t adjusted. So I wonder… if a company is desperate for silver for panels or something is 90% silver coins gonna be worthless since they’d have to refine the silver out of it to make the silver pure enough for panels?

For a seated lib to look that "nice" in only a 53 there's gotta be something horribly wrong with the luster. If you tilt it and aren't getting a strong cartwheel effect that would explain the grade. Because I see full lines on both shields, strong stars, and a practically perfect eagle. Although it's PCGS, they do retarded shit a lot more than NGC and that's an old holder. It does look really good as far as details go.

I dunno man, based on the fact that this coin is in a old green holder means that this coin was graded by PCGS back in the early 90's.
You never know, grading back then wasn't as consistent as it is today and I think that it easily has potential to upgrade to an AU55 or 58. The details are too sharp to justify an AU53.
I already bought the coin and I guess that Im already gambling $700 on it so I guess I'll see how it goes.

Well good luck, it's got a lot going for it and looks nice. Try NGC, they tend to be SLIGHTLY tougher (by about a point) but also way less likely to do retarded shit like PCGS (probably cleaned grading service), if they see even one odd spot on a coin PCGS calls it cleaned while NGC tends to grade much straighter. I'm biased but NGC holders are also much nicer looking, PCGS reminds me of that clear blue plastic used for inflatable pool toys.

I can tell you from first sight the 5RM you posted is 100% legit, if it's the one you are wondering about. You can go for it.
And about legit sellers, the usual signs : check the evaluations' historic (must be over 99%+ with 100+ evals, check for fake evaluations, etc..). The RM is widely counterfeited, and they without exceptions all look fucking terrible.
They have a specially hard time reproducing the runic writing on the edge + the dots surrounding the coin + the mint section.

I bought three blocks when they first came out to play around with.
No, they don't perform like the real thing.
The pins will help keep the blocks stacked or in line, but there's a lot of play and rocking. These are poured, and I think machining would do a better job but at a very much higher cost.

Funny thing about Bitcoin. I have literally zero experience with ecoin of any sort, but have been watching Bitcoin's prices for maybe two years now. I've seen it drop from $48k at my start to $16k a couple of months ago, and climb back up to its current $19k (that's an 18% gain off the floor!). It's too volatile for my nerves, but it seems like it found the bottom and has been enjoying some growth. Can't say how long that will last of course.
