But your whole premise for being bullish is that the Fed will start the printers again. The US hasn’t always been inflationary insofar as the dollar is concerned and it is possible for deflation to occur or even stagflation. The only reason you’re bullish is because of your belief that the Fed will continue to inflate, not because of health in the economy or strong competition. Bullish despite a continually rising interest rate and continuing QT/lowering balance sheet.

Yeah, but people tend to be so biased against it that they refuse to entertain any argument you give in favor of green energy, instead favoring the 'realistic' position of borderline inprofitable nuclear, using finite fossile fuels forever, etc. And I notice the goalposts tend to shift, years back everyone said 'solar will always be expensive', well now installation costs are cheap, so the argument shifts to the grid (ignoring innovations in grid management entirely), if they fix that there will be something else

Yep. I smoke and eat like shit so sometimes I have trouble maintaining a healthy erection. With sildenafil I’m ready to go no matter what 45 mins later. And I’ll keep and maintain a boner No problem. I’m talking pants off still hard for 10 minutes after I’m first aroused. I used to never be able to walk around with erections so I would have to quick get hard and start fucking almost instantly. Now I can take my time and stay hard. Only drawback is that it makes my heart feel like it’s going to explode if I don’t end up having sex

For wind and solar namely the fluctuating production and lack of control. If it’s very windy you can produce more than you actually need, or if it’s calm you don’t get anything at all, or anything in between. The power production and demand needs to be balanced continously, at the moment the main way is quick start gas or oil fired plants, the green solutions are very expensive. You can try to store the excess production but that’s very expensive too.

I don't want to be forced to lose money through expiry/rollover. Maybe I have misunderstood it.

"Nuclear needs no subsidies to survive"
It's subsidized heavily and tends to be unprofitable, just google Frances' current problems with nuclear energy or lifetime LCOE costs of nuclear plants.

Fossil fuels run out eventually, and somehow when its about renewables people act like innovation doesn't exist or problems that exist now can never be fixed.

>upfront emissions
"A 2017 study published in Nature Energy conducted life cycle assessments of renewable and non-renewable energy sources and found that solar, wind, and nuclear all have carbon footprints many times lower than fossil fuel-generated energy. That was true even when accounting for “hidden” emissions sources like resource extraction, transportation, and production—which, of course, are also associated with fossil fuels. The study found that coal, even with carbon capture and storage (CCS) technology deployed, generates 18 times the carbon footprint of solar over its lifetime, while natural gas has 13 times the emissions footprint of solar.9"

I think you just mindlessly hate whatever blackrock invests in, just keep on doing that I guess.

I think gas will be around a long time as they have underestimated the amount of copper necessary to build out a huge grid. In my opinion gas is basically the best fuel around, but it will run out at some point. I think Gazprom estimates another 80 years left in Russia, will have to check.

You can fix intermittency with cheap molten iron batteries reasonably well, I imagine, but all that has to be built and deployed. It doesn't help that the people pushing solar/wind (Greens) tend to be enormous retards

>Fossil fuels run out eventually
Biggest meme of all time, if it happens it will be centuries away at this point. Every estimation they come out with has been wrong
>people act like innovation doesn't exist or problems that exist now can never be fixed
They don't deserve the tax money or being pushed as heavily as they are, any real problem that needs to be fixed with solar or wind is shit we have deal with for decades. Imagine having to replace every solar panel after 25-30 years, or all the fucking land we have to deforest for wind, and where all the old dead batteries have to go. It's technology that isn't there yet being pushed by people that don't give a shit how good it is because they'll make money from the manufacturing process or get subsidy money. And I don't trust anything that comes from that kind of system. It needs more time to develop but it isn't getting that from its biggest pushers.
>That was true even when accounting for “hidden” emissions sources like resource extraction, transportation, and production—which, of course, are also associated with fossil fuels.
This just sounds like they seperated the hidden emissions into it counting for fossil fuels and not solar or wind
>I think you just mindlessly hate whatever blackrock invests in
Not necessarily but ESG is cancer, the "E" part isn't talked about as much but it's the reason half baked solar is being shilled so hard by governments. Not enough solar panels, you don't get foreign investment. That's not a good system

They're trying to frontrun. They think the price is too low, but there has been a shortage of storage space to hold the gas. Rising production implies producers think they'll have demand for that gas, so frontrunners are buying in the hope that this is the turning point where consumption is starting to outpace production and the storage bottleneck will stop holding prices down. The counterargument is seasonality, since time is running out for cold weather.
