With 3 billion, the current circulating supply, at one cent each, you can move...
3,000,000,000 x .01 x 17,000 = 510,000,000,000 each day of money transfer.
So at .02 it's a trillion dollars with JUST the 3 billion circulating supply currently.

I would have hoped, at the very least, he would understand that regardless of the distribution method, the same amount of tokens are being sent out for the 85%. The only thing that changes is who receives what, and all it is, is transferring the rights to the airdrop from dumpers to network participants. That's all it is. A transfer of eligibility from people who find value in selling immediately for small amounts of bucks to people who want to earn a passive income.

Network participation is more valuable over 3 years than continuously sending tokens for 3 years to people who choose to just dump them, helping to put selling pressure. Then no one wants to fucking get into it because FLR is worth fuck all for 3 damn years.

Reward the people bringing value and supporting the network.

I'm confused about what his actual problem is. I can understand being frustrated with not committing to the original plan when Flare has been propped up by the XRP community. But then in the same breath he says that you don't lose anything by selling now because the value of the remaining airdrop is already priced into the 4.5 cents. It's an overly simplified way to look at the inflation, to say that 1 FLR today will have the same value as 7 FLR in 30 months. The inflation concerns would be real, if everyone just dumped their airdrop each month, but now everyone will be wrapping and delegating it. Most of the airdrop isn't going to end up in circulation, so the price shouldn't drop 2-4% every month. And as the Flare network starts getting actual use, the demand will increase. Then of course there are oracle rewards and the agent liquidity pools, there's money to be made outside of just the airdrop. Maybe I'm retarded, but I don't see there being a negative return on investment by the end of the distribution period if you get in now.
