the tx fee is an extra amount the sender sends with the transaction that will be leftover for the miner after the block has been mined

in other words its all demand and the tx fee is just for the miner to even consider taking you out of the backlog and processing your transaction

this would be different with bigger blocks for example as more transactions could be processed at once
