great question

>> No.53201892

Reminder that you always need someone to buy your bags to justify prices. So if no new money enters the market prices fall. Check out (for example) the empty bottles market: if someone buys a bottle of beer, the glass bottle usually is the expensive part. When all the magic and good times is gone, you are left with an empty bottle that you end up to dump in the trash + a hangover if you had too much magic. And you find yourself in the cruel reality.

>>53201764
This we don't know, it depends on many macro factors, like governments trying to sabotage or (((regulate))) it, or else.
The real question is: did they build something out of the flood of money they got?

Crypto can't do real work faster, easier, or more cost effectively than existing technology, so it turned into an unregulated penny stock casino.

The penny stock casino bubble, led by ethereum and binance side chain, which host serious technology products (dotcom tier fund raising scams) and fun beaniebaby animal tokens (blatant scams) respectively, is over for now, but MAY return when bitcoin mining difficulty increases. Stay tuned.

What am I a fucking migrant broccoli picker? Even if I was, western union, walmart, and PayPal all do that cheaper than gas/ mining feesa nd faster than the 15mins-1hour it takes to confirm on chain. You get the added bonus of not being cockblocked by your financial institution while onramping/off ramping, and the value of the funds sent can't crash while being transmitted.

Fucking lol. Crypto even sucks at that, and that's the basic shit.

global dollar short squeeze because of unprecedented rate hikes, the federal funds rate is over 50x (5000%) higher than it was last december. this lead to crypto wide liquidation cascades and blow ups of some of the largest funds, protocols, centralized lending facilities, and exchanges, particularly LUNA and 3AC in may and FTX in november, with now Genesis and DCG appearing to be in trouble among many other blowups.

IMO parts of it will recover but its in an institutional grade shakedown right now that is not finished.

I think crypto is pretty much dead compared to the level it was at before. I regret not getting in earlier but I made some money to buy some toys last bull run at least. Was fun while it lasted.

Gov't regulation aside, even though I think that's a big part of it, the negative press/attention around it is going to keep institutional and normie investors away for the forseeable future. No more celebrity commercials after the Matt Damon fiasco, and the face of crypto has just been relegated to the Bahamas kike and other scam artists.
