Absolute nothingburger, it was only like 1% of that particular fund, they still hold AVAX in the smart contract fund (11%)

Ethereum kill itself, Avalanche is superior in every way.

Lets compare ETH staking to Avalanche staking:

>ETH staking withdrawals will not be available right away
Avalanche withdrawals are available since Mainnet launch YEARS ago
>The current plan is to deploy the withdrawal functionality in a software update 6 mo - 1 year after the Merge.
essential stuff like this was never missing on Avalanche, this means you have to stake ETH for up to a year, maybe even longer while on Avalanche you can Stake for 2 weeks minimum or 1 year maximum or anything in between.
>The current projected income rate (for ETH) is around ~4% APY
Running an Avalanche Node has a proven 9% - 12% APY (paid in AVAX) since Mainnet Launch 2 years ago.
If you run a Node you get Staking rewards, % of your delegators rewards and Tokens from validating several Subnets. (The Golden Subnet Bullrun has not started yet).
>Also the withdrawal system will be implemented as a queue to limit the amount of ETH that can be withdrawn per day,
there is no queue on Avalanche, its instant, sub second, its finalized faster than you can press F5. thats all transactions or smart contract interactions on Avalanche, even when you go crosschain between X Chain and P chain and C chain and other Subnets its instant. Sub Second finality.
>Transactions take 14+ Minutes until they are finalized
I repeat: on Avalanche transactions are almost instant.
>Ethereum has Slashing which means you can lose your stake due to a Hardware or Software bug
No such thing as Slashing on Avalanche.

Avax is a scam. The APY is 12%, but the supply inflation rate is currently 24%. This means that if you purchase 1% of the supply and stake it for one year then you're left with owning 0.88% of the supply you lose -12% ownership each year. Only the developers and 16 VC are allowed to own more and more of the supply each year. Thats where the extra 12% APY goes to. At least with ETH, my stack actually grows when I stake. If i own 1% of the supply and stake it then the next year i will own 1.04% then 1.08%. This is how whales measure wealth growth, not using meme dollars but by how much more % of the supply we own. ETH killers can fork ETH they can copy the dapps and code by they cannot copy its sound tokenomics, it has even surpassed bitcoin and shattered the digital gold narrative. The flippening will commence soon. Also kleros is the missing link that will make complex dapps such as EBAY or Uber possible to run entirely on the blockchain as smart contracts, its the first subjective data oracle with plans to be crosschains. 12 million market cap BTW ur early. sir pls help our vilage.

You’re correct in everything you said, the only problem is that eth is a huge pile of shit. At least eth was original tech though, unlike avax which is just a copy paste of eth but a little faster.

Yeah but supply will decrease over time and the entire currency will become generally deflationary, meaning emission rewards will be lower than the tokens burned every year, forever. If you're not staking now you are NGMI.

They keep mentioning N chain or something over and over again, but I'm not familiar with it.

>> No.53182799

it is sad that people still think avalanche as "eth killer" despite the fact that avax ceo told the contrary times and times... avax is not eth killer, avax is not anything killer. avax is a high quality, fast and low fee l1. you will see best games on avalanche at next bull run ok, not on ethereum.

>> No.53182828

>>53182799
Not just that; it could be beneficial for Eth long term if Eth wants to solve its MEV problem or to take advantage of a better consensus mechanism. Its eth maxis who give this "muh eth killer" meme credence. No one associated with Avax thinks of themselves as "eth killers". If that happens, it will happen naturally as the market corrects itself towards efficiency.

>> No.53183957

>>53182799
But you can’t build games on avax, only move tokens around. Avax can’t even host its own nfts lmao. Sure you can host your game on aws and move tokens around on your shitchain and just say it’s “built on avax” but everyone knows it’s just a retarded cope. Also if it gets any use at all the gas will fly through the roof like the last time you roach faggots tried to do that.

How does a permissionless, concern-isolated chain running an arbitrary VM, arbitrary DB, arbitrary gas token/model with arbitrary node hardware requirements that can have effectively unlimited number of nodes validating it. This chain can also seamlessly interact with any other chain on any other subnet on avalanche with no additional trust assumptions or with ETH/BTC via secure decentralized bridges.

>> No.53185774

>>53185495
Just so we’re clear, I think there will be no new L1s because they can’t one up Avalanche. Want to introduce a new L1? Bullshit, it’s just an improved VM, make it a subnet. It’s have a new consensus? Bullshit, use Avalanche it’s better.
