My siblings are inheriting our parents house. The house isn't payed off yet and my neither of my siblings wants to move back in with me to pay off the mortgage. They are planning to put the house up for sale. I don't think it's a good idea to sell the house and I could technically afford it if I refinance. Should I try to do it? Housing is next to impossible to afford in California and I just think it's a really bad idea to sell it. I don't want to be a rentoid my entire life. Should I try to change their minds? Wat do?

You all inherit it together? Here in europoor if one of the siblings wants the house they pay off the rest of the siblings for their share, if you want to live in it it will definitly be cheaper than buying one elsewhere no? 1/3th cheaper if you are three siblings, the rest mortage is tricky, the price on which you pay off the siblings needs to adjusted for that

What do you mean they are inheriting it? You and your siblings are all inheriting it together, you mean, right? Unless your parents left you out of the will or something. Anyways, you will likely need to buy them out and pay them fair market value for what would be their share of the house, im thinking, but I'm not a lawyer. Would call a few for a free consult and hire your favorite if necessary, i.e. you and your siblings cannot agree on whether to keep or sell the house.

Use your 1/3rd ownership as leverage for mortgage and buy them out.

If your parents were smart they would have made it so that you could not sell the house for at least a decade.
If you did then 99% of the money would go to a predetermined charity.
Owning land is the only wealth guarantee these days and if you want to continue living in California you'd better get it together and convince them not to sell or move in and find roommates to help pay the mortgage

keep the house, rent it to pay it off, borrow to together using that house as leverage, rent the new house you've purchased until it's paid off, do the same thing this house, do it again, and again, and again. retire with 16 properties to your names.

I wasn't a footfag until I saw my coworker without her heels on one time. She was dancing on a cold laminate floor. The sounds she made with her feet hitting the floor were so damn sexy. It was just something I'd never seen before.

If you have rights then go to a lawyer to stop it from being sold.
If not then just get a friend to buy the house and then sell it back to you for cheap, give him 10k or so.

The house will hold value better than anything else in the long run. Go for it. take over the mortgage.

This is the worst time to sell in 15 years.

You should clean up the house and rent it out.
