I'm astounded to hear that sanity was still functioning at all, i havent seen one since my local one shut down and assumed the company was done for a decade ago

some music scenes love it still, they become more like collectors items to the right crowd. there was a huge surge in popularity of vinyl and even tape in metal last decade and i assume its still going because metal retards eat up the 'raw tones of tape' like the goyslop it is and love to tell you baselessly that vinyl is the ultimate musical medium

I thought Australia lost all its Sanity years ago.

Damn, the Sanity store in town has been an unmoving fixture in the city centre mall for as long as I can remember while near everything else came and went

Its just not as much fun to shop on the internet compared to shopping at a mall with your GF.

I still vividly remember buying Ministry of Sound compilations from my local Sanity for $35 each circa 2005 until JB Hi-Fi showed up in my town. Those were the fucking days, bro.

>>53126249
I agree. All the shit EB sells is more expensive than JB Hi-Fi, Big W, etc. And then there's Amazon, eBay, as well online. Don't understand how they've survived so long. Can the service be really that good? I think they'd gotten into the habit of hiring cute art-hoe type girls behind the counter to get nerds into the stores.

This, holly crap NZer here, our largest mostly CD shop went more than 10 years ago. Now there's probably only 5-10 shops that sell CDs in the entire country and its like here's our CD shelf.

>> No.53128384

>>53128356
I'm amazed anything outside of US, UK or China still sells CDs in a chain shop. Our countries chains that actually have more than 2 or 3 shops stopped 10 + years ago.

Real groovy is still in operation though. The hipster vinyl fags love to shop there, and they still sell plenty of CDs.

Unironically had the best price for the Switch I bought for my sister at the time which was a little weird because EB used to always be the most expensive store.
