https://blog.syntropynet.com/post/syntropy-chooses-cosmos-for-web3-development/

"Our development team faced multiple challenges when building with the Substrate framework, which is used to build chains within the Polkadot ecosystem. It ultimately did not meet our specific needs and requirements. We experienced repeated stability issues with our public testnet, and developing business logic for our decentralized application was difficult and time-consuming."

why do Cosmos and Polkadot fanboys shit talk Polygon when in reality its doing a much better job?

>> No.53127791

>>53127786
no one actually uses Polygon. these are all bots

>> No.53127809

>>53127791
>bots
lol, Polygon has some of the most popular dApps on the market built on it. how did you automatically assume “bots”

AAVE, Uniswap, Curve, Quickswap
these are all dApps that have TVL in the hundreds of millions of dollars

now name one dApp on Cosmos or Polkadot that can remotely compete with that

>> No.53127903

>>53127809
I think both moonbeam and evmos have those same Dapps because they're easily copy and pasted from eth to any evm environment, it makes no sense for evm projects not to colonise other chains. The fact that jeets that can't afford eths gas fees have congregated onto polygon isn't a special or even particularly good when polygon itself isn't secure or decentralised in any way, it just makes the inevitable crash worse.

Noia ruined my life

>> No.53128331

Syntropy (NOIA) was supposed to develop their own chain instead they're going from one to another because...because they're not competent enough or what?

Polygon will succeed if it adopts tech outside the evm

It's a chain on a chain. Look up how cosmos and polkadot work. Thorchain is it's own thing but uses cosmos iirc.

>> No.53128729

>>53128703
Yes, but I rather meant their own blockchain.

That DARP thing to function will need shit ton of blockchain transactions which will make the use of it very expensive. Or am I missing something anon?

I also don't know that much about the tech,
if your interpretation is correct (every bandwidth purchase requires its on TX on chain) then yes you are correct.
But I doubt this is how it will operate

This project is complete vaporware and they won't deliver anything on Cosmos either. No one in the Polkadot community has any clue who these guys were and if you check their repo you can see they're using a version of substrate from December 2021 and didn't update since. You just need to read their stuff to figure out it's all buzzword bingo with no substance to back it.

>> No.53137568

>>53136582
or... just maybe most of their work has nothing to do with a blockchain
its really a web2 company (bandwidth routing) where you buy their product (bandwidth) using their token.
they will likely accept dollars as payments and just do buybacks in their token (the ceo has said eventually all purchases will convert to NOIA at some point)
none of their clients want to pay in $NOIA, the FTSE100 / SP500 most finance departments aren't that forward thinking to hoarde the tokens (which represent bandwidth) before they become worth more bandwidth (aka $)
but it appears a few autists here are...
Im going to shut up from now on though as I'm still waiting to buy (im dca'ing)

>> No.53137961

>>53137568
If that's the case they wouldn't need to launch their own chain, they could just do the ERC20. You have no clue what you're talking about and you're going to lose money on this shit.
