HEX is a smart contract that launched as finished code that cannot be changed. im not saying the SEC couldnt try and target it, but theres nothing they (or anyone) could do to stop the code from running. even if all the front ends were taken down, you can still interact with the contract through etherscan (and elsewhere). richard specifically created HEX with not being labeled a security in mind. i dont care how you feel about him or HEX, but i feel like it has less off a chance of being labeled a security than most tokens.
