I want to preface this by saying I don’t know shit about Chainlink. I’ve avoided learning about it because honestly, this Sergey fellow doesn’t pass the smell test at all. How can anyone expect a mediocre NYU alum, with a degree in philosophy no less, to usher in the biggest technical revolution since the internet? Are you retarded? Even if the ideas behind Chainlink are solid, who cares? Implementation is 99% of the work. As long as that guy is at the helm, you’re going nowhere. No first-rate developers would ever work for him, and crypto is fundamentally an infrastructure endeavour, you’ll need top of the line talent to implement that vision. Everything from how this so-called “foundation” operates to the growing random assortment of “advisors” reeks of incompetence.

Just adds to my point. I actually know someone who graduated with SBF. Aside from the fact that he got filtered and almost flunked out despite taking easy classes, he has 0 technical aptitude/programming experience. Didn’t even know how a blockchain worked. Well look how that turned out.

Hopefully, if Chainlink has a board and governance structure with any semblance of sense, they’ll remove this Sergey guy as CEO and get someone with the technical chops necessary to execute. He’s completely out of his depth
