Jobless came in as expected so the market isn't sure how to feel about it until another economic print confirms a bearish or bullish trend.

Yeah, I did $300/mo for a couple of years before I stopped contributing. If shit hits the fan, the principle and interest payments make for a small income stream. Plan A was to have about 250k in it for retirement, but the TOD thing is a deal breaker for that, and it's not very tax efficient, which is more important as my income grows.

The bottom of SPR is 1/4, or about 180mmbl.

The stated objective of SPR is 90 day supply. With our 2mmbd deficit, that means we’d need 180mmbl available. So about 360mmbl total in SPR. We are at 379. So they could theoretically do 4-5 more weeks.
