Have you all noticed the uptick in static advertisements on 4channel this year? There was even a period of video ads with those "On this day" vids. Granted a lot of the stuff advertised is low quality, but it means little people are buying adspace now.

"Buy a banner" has got to be the most beneficial meme to this site's financials ever, even more than passposting.
