So something strange has been happening the last week or so. Before work everyday I drive to the lake down the road and have a smoke before I head in to work. The last week there has been a white pt cruiser hanging out by the boat dock every time I'm there. I know I look suspicious because I park, get out of my car, smoke, get right back in my car, and leave. The last time I was there this white pt cruiser pulled up, honked but I paid no attention to it and ignored them. This time was different though. This time while I was smoking, he pulled up and stopped. He honked and I looked up. I saw a silhouette of an older gentleman in the car and he has a cat in the car which I thought was weird. He held up his phone and took a picture of me, and sped off. I don't know if he's a glowie, or if he thinks I'm a glowie. Not sure who is jewing who at this point. You can view all the same pieces in higher quality on your monitor at home. I generally only visit museums when travelling to fill time.
Typically in a museum there are only a few standout pieces I'm looking to see. Stuff from the Hudson Valley School of the old Dutch masters. A single museum will only contain a few worthwhile pieces. Online, I can view the the entire collective output of a single artist - whichever artists I want, and whenever I want.
I can zoom into details, and pick out precise colors to reference in my own works.

If you're interested in more recent artwork, many of the best artists nowadays work natively in digital. If you're going to a modern art museum, all you'll find in the contemporary section are photo collages of the pride of Ukraine, obtuse sexual instruments, lightshows with ambient sounds, and cloth streamers draped in random patterns. It's all just vaguely sexual/political nonsense designed to make you "think". The real artists are out making concept art for video games and movies, writing their own comics or picture books, running patreons/fanbox/etc.

I worked in a literal concentration camp style alcohol warehouse. We weren’t a weouse for shit beer/wine brands but there were a few mixed in. Things like sam Adams, Lagunitas, Sierra Nevada and a bunch of other high end beer and wines and champagne like Moët and Ace of Spades. We would know what specials were going to be hitting stores 2 months before we started shipping product out and got to also get all kinds of cool advertising merch they would send out to stores and would get sent back.

Thank You Jesus Christ the King of Kings and Lord of Lords don’t have to work that job anymore and make hundreds of thousands of dollars now, but I’ll never forget that experience and the others who worked there since I know Od could destroy me in two seconds so I thank him everyday I don’t have to do that anymore.

A total bond fund had an average duration of 6-9 years so it acts like a short term decade long investment, not the same as a total market fund. One of the few things they get wrong.
