First china sanctions hurt semi sales since china buys so much of the high end semis the west designs/taiwan manufactures.
Second semis have had so much investment and development everywhere that they've become commodified. Margins are shrinking and only the high-end performance or server parts have good margin.
The problem with relying on high-end server parts for good margin is that most of the big server customers are building up their in-house designs. Google, MS, AWS all have custom semi parts they're using. This keeps biting away at the future projects for the Intel, AMD, Nvidia's server-related sales.

The dynamics don't favor any sustained bounce. It's one of the few growth stocks still above its pre-covid highs, and as those gains rapidly disappear the rational longs are bailing. All that'll be left are the true believers in technogod Elon, and a rotating wave of dip buying bagholders each taking a 20% loss before flipping their shares back into the pool on the ride down.
