Take commissions. You'd have to provide extraordinary service to surpass what others can achieve, so I'd get pretty comfortable with the program and learn how to prompt the weird stuff the AI doesn't want to make.
Find a good model mix and style that makes it chiefly seem to not be AI art. Use artist names to find something that suits you.
Learn img2img and how to coax the prompt with simple mspaint drawings.
Get creative with character expressions. The flat neutrality reeks of AI art.
There's also this technique, I forgot what is called, but it allows you to section off a part of an image and exclusively prompt that, allowing you to provide higher detail to stuff like faces and hands.
You can compile images into a set to influence a prompt using a keyword. Forgot what they're called again, but I know /sdg on /g/ and /vtai/ on /vt/ has a repository of them.

This might seem like a lot, but it's not. Just hang out in /sdg/ on /g/ for a couple days while kicking back, drinking soda, and prompting, and you'll learn tons.

Never tell anybody the shit your making is AI art. Fags will get butthurt, and the people that commission you will want to pay less.
