My best investment of 2022 was in cryptocurrencies, specifically Bitcoin and Ethereum. I received most of my understanding of banking and economics from the Austrian School of Economics. But, I've realized some of their views aren't actually correct.

I've learned there is a huge difference between the Federal Reserve (printing money) as Bank Reserves vs. Commercial Banks expanding credit in the broad economy. Basically, how you can expand base money (Reserves) without increasing M2.

I just got this book for Christmas and I'm really excited to read it.

I've become much more open minded to different schools of thought.

Bought 10k worth of Clover Health at an average of $8 per share.

Sold at an average of $6 per share after their offering. Lost $2500 in about 5 minutes on market open.
