Tesla stock was always going to tank as soon as other companies started making innovations to keep up.

The best thing Tesla can do to salvage it's image is pander to old school Americana... Tesla isn't working with China. Makes sense, but really different models need to be available to different markets. Tesla should not try to be like Ford. I think the cars that look kinda like vector graphics are ugly and unlikable. The trucks are simply ahead of their time, the market is fluctuating because of the Twitter fiasco... I would double down on the trucks and do less advertising about batteries. People don't want to hear about the reliability of experimental technology, since batteries have a reputation of losing capacity over time, and also people know batteries haven't had a technology update in some time. Everyone has a battery in their phones so Tesla should avoid talking about batteries.

The stock probably isn't going up to glory day heights anytime soon, but it could see a significant resurgence with a different marketing strategy with an emphasis on design choice a la Steve jobs apple.

Furthermore Tesla is seen as a goldmine for investors in other car companies. When investors pull out of Tesla they are going into other companies, so those other card companies are using Tesla as a litmus test and biding their time until popularity wanes. This is a pivotal time for Tesla.

Twitter shouldn't integrate with Tesla, it fuds brand integrity. In fact, the idea of integrating any messaging system with Tesla vehicles is a bad idea and already did it's job as "bad boy" advertising, since texting while driving isn't safe and should held to driver discretion. Tesla should stay out of social media imo and instead leave that to zukk. Tesla vr crossovers in 10 years might be attractive and meta could help with this if it doesn't capitulate.

Forgive me for over posting, but it is my personal belief that an industry leader should be strengthening the American culture. America rose to prominence in part because it's media. Right now we live in a world is flat world as far as media is concerned. I may not be correct, but the the things that make America distinct have suffered a bit. Doubling down on Americana might be a good move, in addition to other product lines. People fell in love with Hollywood lights. In the Netflix YouTube age this strikes me as a good move.
